brainIf you want to get into the internet marketing game you need to develop a certain mindset, here are a couple of things I see important for you to remember.

• Making money online is NOT a get rich quick scheme. You don’t just ‘dump money’ into some marketing scheme hoping to get money in return.

• You must invest time into your education. Depending on your aptitude,

you don’t just read an E-book or two and expect to become an Internet

marketing expert. After all, how long does it take for someone to graduate from college with the knowledge they need to go into business?

• You must invest time for trial and error. No one gets it ‘right’ on the first

try. You must be prepared for failures and mistakes. Learn from them and make sure you get up and fight again!  Remember Thomas Edison’s famous quote, “I have not failed.  I have just found 10,000 ways that will not work.”

Live by that motto.

 • You must be prepared to put up with negative people, many of them may be your own family members. There are others in the world out there who do not believe that it is possible to make money online. When you put your plans into action, you will face resistance from your beer-drinking buddies, your family members or even your BOSS! If you don’t have the endurance, you will succumb to the pressure.

• You must be prepared to go all the way. An Internet marketing business

is just like any other business in the ‘offline’ world. If you are not prepared to go all the way, you will give up halfway because you have put in a half-hearted attitude into your business.

Another great quote from an Anonymous author says, Life’s real failure is when you do not realize how close you were to success when you gave up.” Don’t give up just feet from the finish line.

CBR003607If you are going into any selling field you need to know a couple of handy strategies that could make your job a whole lot easier.

1) The first successful selling strategy is a website that provides information about the products and the service they are providing. The advantage of that is we can sell those products and services online. Selling is a talent to be cultivated. It requires a lot of understanding to find what the customer is looking for and then fulfilling his needs.

It is very important to get the complete attention of reader. The content of the message should be make reader think. This can be achieved by using power words, along with color and visuals. Once the attention is grabbed, it should be retained till the end of the message. The customer should be prompted to take some action and their involvement should be sought. They can be made to sign up for newsletters or can be made to take the survey by visiting the company’s website.

2) The consumer should be convinced to buy the product. All the features of the company should be specified, with the more relevant ones on the top. They should be explained logically through these points how the products will fulfill their needs or solve their problems. It does only by convincing the customer about this will motivate them to buy the product. They should be made to understand what wonders the product can do to him. Strong emotional words should be included in the sentence.

The customer should either fear the loss of the product if he doesn’t buy it in time or he should be given the greed of the advantages the product can provide. These reasons will create an emotional impulse and will make them think that they have no other option to buy it. They will have a logical reason to make the purchase. The emotions of the buyer should be manipulated with words.

Something like ‘limited edition’ or ‘limited period offer’ will create a sense of urgency. The customer thinks that he should get this product somehow. It’s nice to have sales often, especially to clear out old inventory in the name of some offer. The products which have an obvious damage should be sold out at a special price. But the damage should be mentioned to the customer. If it’s not mentioned, the first time the customer will be tricked into buying something, but he will loose trust and won’t come back again.

Always hold seasonal sales and offers. Since all the competitors will be giving out different offers to attract customers, it’s a good point to have one, too. But it should be remembered to not to imitate anyone. Only a unique offer will make the customers not go to the competitors’. Once in a while offer free shipping offer also works. A condition like if a customer spends particular amount of money, all items will be shipped for free. This is another attractive deal which will surely tempt the customer. Thanks to search engines and online stores anything can be purchased from the comfort of the home. Give away free sample to the customers or keep a pre-sale price for introductory products. The customers won’t think twice to spend a little money to try something new.

3) The ending of the sales message is where most people mess it up. The whole efforts will be wasted if the customer gets a second thought. He should be convinced, by nice words, to buy the product till the very end. The content should be arranged with care. The key is to tell the customer what to do exactly after he finishes reading the matter, like ‘Grab the golden opportunity now’ or ‘pick up the phone and dial the number right now’, etc. Do not include links or short advertisement of other products or services. This will shift the focus of the reader and he might have a second thought. A list of the existing customers should be maintained and from time to time special offers should be mailed to them. So basically the whole idea is to influence the mind of the customer until he buys a product.

You can read over the assignment and decide whether you would like to accept it or not. Just email or call them back letting them know. It’s that easy!

Taken From THE WALL STREET JOURNAL – Online Edition June 9, 2003:
“Cheers,” she said, hoisting a frosty Corona with lime. Tanned and relaxed after playing a few holes, she finished up the beer and ate a cheeseburger. The golf and burgers were all part of the job, as were the strict instructions from her boss to ‘consume at least one alcoholic beverage.’

That was her afternoon. Her morning was spent dress shopping, cashing a check at a bank, and looking at new cars. In the evening she ate dinner with a friend at a, “nice Italian restaurant.” Everything she did was a paid job. She made about $300 that day. “Can you believe they call this work?” she asked. And what does this shopper make on a monthly basis?

According to The Wall Street Journal, “Jennifer V. made nearly $7,000″ the month before the article was written in May, 2003.
THIS IS A MUST DO BUSINESS, FOR ALL STAY AT HOME MOMS!

There are a lot of different shopping networks out there for you to choose from and you should take a look at a couple before making your decision on which one to join. Most charge a small application fee to join. I have never seen a fee over $50, so watch carefully what the application fee is for your company. Check out the companies I have on this page, all of them have good reputations and do not charge more than $50 for their application fees.

valentine1Valentines Day Activites For Families

It’s important for families to show their love for one another, so what better time than Valentine’s Day to play some game, engage in some fun activities, all designed to show each other love and support?

One fun activity is all about giving each other “snaps” for being who they are. Over the course of the year, mom and dad, and the kids as well, can add “snaps” to a special jar or containers. These “snaps” might include things like “dad helped me build my pinewood derby car” or “Joey read books to his sister each night without complaint”. Read these little slips of good things, thank each other for caring and empty the jar to start it again for another year.

At dinner on Valentine’s night, have each family member tell others why they love them. What about dad made mom love him? Why does Joey love his sister? What about sissy is special to dad? It might seem a little corny at first, but in the end, everyone will enjoy hearing wonderful, positive things about themselves.

One fun family game involves family trivia. This game is particularly fun if the children are a bit older and there are at least 2 children in the family. Mom (or dad) creates a trivia game that looks something like this: there will be a series of index cards with a bit of family trivia on each card. Someone draws a card and tries to answer the question correctly. If correct, they get a point. The person with the most points at the end of the game gets a prize or extra chocolate syrup on their dessert. Some questions might be things like this:

*Which one of us suffered a broken leg at the age of 8?
*Which of us, at the age of 3, flushed an entire box of Tide down the toilet?
*Which of us snuck into mom and dad’s room every night until he or she was 6 years old?

At a certain age, children begin to enjoy preparing meals for mom and dad. For a fun Valentine’s activity, the children could be asked to prepare a meal for mom and dad. Ideally, this would be breakfast in bed and could include foods that are traditional “romantic” foods (like strawberries and chocolate) or whatever the kids want to make. They might even like to prepare a special Valentine’s Day menu and let mom and dad choose off the menu. This would be a fun tradition to start as an annual event on Valentine’s Day.

Consider a fun family game of “hidden hearts”. In this game, children are given clues to find chocolate hearts hidden around the house. The clues can be easy or more complicated to figure out depending on the ages of the children. If one or more children are very young, mom and dad can help them with the clues. When they find the hearts, they can eat them, but mom or dad, remember where you hid the hearts and be sure to count how many are found, so there aren’t any left to get ugly in the house!

Finally, a fun family activity around Valentine’s Day is to make cards for other people. Have the kids make handprint cards for the grandparents or have the kids make cards for their friends. Handmade cards can be so much more meaningful than the store-bought kind and kids learn a lot from the experience of putting their hearts (literally) into making the card for others.

casper-friendly-ghostGot Writing Skills? Earn Money Writing as a Ghostwriter

If you have ever dreamed about having a career in freelance writing, you might look into the growing opportunity of ghostwriting. Ghostwriting is the practice of writing works (books, articles, etc.) anonymously for a client. In turn, the client gets full rights to place her name on the writing and publish it as her own.

Side Note: If you’ve heard of ghostwriting before and you already know it’s a career path you want to pursue, I recommend you pick up a copy of Just Add Sweat’s “How to Become a Ghostwriter” Guide. It will show you exactly what you need to know to get started.

But if you’re new to the idea of becoming a ghostwriter, let’s continue…

To get into ghostwriting, there are a few skills you should have or work to acquire:

- Excellent Writing Skills: Certainly to be a ghostwriter, you need to be able to write well. Your writing should flow well, cover topics thoroughly and in many cases, your clients will expect you to capture their unique voice in your writing.

- Research Skills: As a ghostwriter, you’ll be responsible for finding and processing all of the information that you will need to be able to do your writing on a specific topic.

- Grammar & Spelling: It might seem obvious, but it’s important to note. All of the work that you turn into your clients as a ghostwriter must be free of any grammar and spelling errors.

Many different types of businesses and individuals readily use ghostwriting services. Authors, business executives, celebrities and others may look to ghostwriters to write books for them. Online business owners, blog publishers and other websites hire writers to create articles and other content. Information product sellers look to ghostwriters to publish how-to and other instructional guides. The sky is the limit when you are looking for people who want to hire ghostwriters.

There are many things you can do put yourself ahead in this field (and the How to Become a Ghostwriter Guide covers these and more in depth).

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

- Start building a resume that will get you noticed. Highlight any writing experience and if you don’t have any,
you can offer to do a few free small projects to build your resume. Approach a non-profit business or someone that you
know that might need writing services.

- Determine which topics you are qualified to write about. Although many ghostwriters are well-rounded and can write on
many researchable topics, having a specialty can help you get work. For example, you might have special knowledge of health, finance or parenting topics. Use this to your advantage.

- Have relevant samples readily available to showcase your writing skills. Many clients are more concerned with how well you write, rather than the amount of experience you’ve had.

To get more help, get a copy of Just Add Sweat’s “How to Become a Ghostwriter” Guide. It will help you discover if ghostwriting is indeed the right career for you, how to break into the business, service rates and more.

Ghostwriting can be a competitive business, but there is plenty of room for new writers if you’re armed with the right approach and that’s exactly what the guide will give you. Go to JustAddSweat for all the details.
